WHAT DOES BEING READY FOR MORE LOOK LIKE IN A GAME?
There are a few shots in pickleball that get a lot of attention.
The serve, for sure.
And then there’s the third shot. Drop it or drive it? Everybody talks about that.
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ve probably heard me say the return of serve is the most important shot in the game. And it is.
A good return gives you time to get to the non-volley zone line and puts your team in a strong position.
But once the serving team hits their third shot, now what?
THE FOURTH SHOT: WE DON’T TALK ABOUT IT ENOUGH
Now your job is to keep the serving team from getting to the non-volley zone line.
That’s where the fourth shot comes in.
But knowing how to hit the shot is only the beginning.
Meet Coach CJ
“My commitment is to see students not as they are, but as what they can become.”
For more than 30 years, I’ve coached people in the sports they love. Since 2016, my focus has been helping pickleball players get better at the game they love and become the players they want to be.
My background as a PGA Golf Professional, PSIA Ski Instructor, and ISSA Personal Trainer has shaped how I coach: learning a skill is only the beginning. The real difference comes when you can use what you’ve learned when you play.
That’s exactly what we’re going to work on during these three live online workshops.
I'd love to have you join me.
3 days. 3 live online workshops. Let’s get you ready for whatever happens next.
